Lakeside Yacht Club at one time was the premier Yacht Club in Port Colborne. It is situated on a creek commonly called The Mill Ditch. This is actually a natural drainage for a large marsh area called The Eagle Marsh.
Many of our members have boats and dock them at SugarLoaf Harbour.

The club is now used for many social events by members and non members.
The most well known event is our World Famous Chili Cookoff.
This is an annual event, with the public voting on the best.
The club is host to many events and is available for rentals by members and non-members.
There have been renovations happening at the club throughout this year. A new bar has been added. The lighting has all been renewed, and a coat of new paint makes it the place for those special occasions.
